Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

SO TRUE. This is SO TRUE. Just think of all those people who have left, and people have been forced to say a tearful goodbye. It happens everyday. When peoples fathers or husbands or brothers leave for war the people left behind have them in their hearts and on their mind every day. It makes them love them that much more because they miss them.

Same thing for long distance relationships. I am currently in one and it SUCKS. However, I love him now more than ever because when he's away my feelings grow. We've gained this confidence in our relationship where we know we can do it in spite of the distance, thus our hearts have grown fonder. It the perfect example but if that doesn't work for you here's one more:

Think about spending every second of every day with one person. The same person every day, for every minute of every hour and and every second of every minute. Just picture it. Now if its the love of your life it probably sounds pretty great, am I right? Well think about it a little more. Think about have no you time. No time to relax and be you. No time to pursue your own personal interests because your with this one individual ALL the time. Then your missing out on the  things you want, therefore you resent them, get upset, and everything ends horribly.

Now picture you doing your own thing, while still maintaining a relationship with that individual. You get what you want and you still keep the flame alive. Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

One more for you. Think about all those movies out there, you know, the cute love stories where you watch and think "Why can't that be me????" Well think of all the ones where the couple breaks up, and then the guy comes running back because he is still in love with the girl, or vice versa. The distance brought them closer.

Ahhh I love this. :)
